Selvino Parvori

SELVINO PARVORI was a young boy orphaned after the fall of Centauri Prime. In the year 2266, Iluhska (Age 40) and Aurellio Parvori (Age 38) left Babylon 5 to visit Centauri Prime. At this time, Aurellio had been continuously working to elevate house Parvori and regain good social standing after the fall. Charity work, reparations, funding, historical preservation, rebuilding architecture and more. Things had already been looking better for the Parvori family and while Aurellio had nieces and nephews, him and Ilushka remained childfree, for obvious reasons (to them, at least).

Upon learning of Caiogerra Parvori's charity work with a local orphanage, Aurellio and Ilushka decided to stop by in support. There, they met Selvino, a four year old boy who stood awkward and alone, playing by himself away from the other children. Ilushka had immediately recognized the "boy with the golden crest" from repeated dreams of her death, knowing somehow that boy in her dreams is her son. Ilushka, immediately feeling a connection to him due to this, impulsively suggested the idea of adopting him and raising him as their own. Thus, Selvino was adopted into the Parvori family and became Aurellio's official successor.

Selvino spent a good majority of his childhood on Babylon 5, alongside his parents while they worked closely with Ambassador Vir Cotto. Here, he learned of other aliens and their cultures and grew to have a more open minded view of the galaxy outside of Centauri Prime than the previous generations, while also learning a lot from 'Uncle Vir'. Though, he is still Centauri, and his parents did not want him to be away from his home planet for too long, so as he grew older he would spend summers at home with his grandparents Caius and Ameilya Parvori and learned of Centauri culture and decorum hands-on, while also growing his skills in art and dueling. Selvino would grow up to be a good, proud Centauri with much interest in cultures other than his own.

In 2278, upon the death of Emperor Mollari II and Emperor Cotto's coronation, Aurellio and Ilushka were appointed to serve on the Royal Court. Ilushka as the Royal Seer and Aurellio as the Minister of Arts and Culture. They, along with Selvino, would move back to Centauri Prime officially and live in the Palace. Selvino now aged 16 is of age and begins to learn of the importance of his role as House Parvori's successor and his role as a young man on Centauri Prime- especially one in the royal court.

In 2281, a young human man by the name of Steven Ramseyer reaches Centauri Prime with questions for the Emperor and some of his court- Aurellio and Ilushka specifically. Steven is welcomed with open arms on the planet and in the palace, and he is given a small place to stay there. Knowing of humans and speaking fluent English due to being raised on Babylon 5, Selvino and Steven become fast friends, and even form a little crush on each other.
