AURELLO PARVORI was born in the City of Centallus on Centauri Prime on December 21st 2228 to Lady Ameliya Parvori and Lord Caius Parvori of the upper-class House Parvori. Aurellio is the first born son of his family, with a younger sister Caiogerra (born 2235) and several step-siblings, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. House Parvori is mainly known for their influence in Centauri Arts and Culture, many of them being dancers, singers, actors, authors, painters, journalists, etc. They are also often diplomats, public speakers, and archivists. Lord Parvori is a retired stage play actor and Couro Prido duelist and Lady Parvori is a well-known opera singer.
Aurellio had a fairly standard Centauri childhood, being sent off to schooling, learning basic academics and archival history. From the age of about 8 to his late teenagehood, Aurellio would also be schooled in dueling and contemporary ballet. After graduation, he would go on to becoming professional in both arts, joining a dueling club and becoming part of the Centauri Ballet Theater company. Here, he would be compensated for performances and be privy to opportunities to dance for Noble or even Royal audiences. In late teenagehood to his early 20’s, Aurellio also did some stage play acting under the same company as his father, more so as a hobby rather than anything to make a career out of.
At the age of 12, Aurellio was arranged to be wed to telepath Ilushka Atraviani He met her for the first time two years later, and they surprisingly got along very well. They became good friends, and became officially married when Aurellio was 20, and Ilushka was 22- becoming the official Seer of House Parvori. Aurellio and Ilushka’s marriage was unconventional, as they soon came to the realization that their intimate interests lie elsewhere than with each other. This similar homosexual identity brought them closer together, and they grew to love each other. Not as married spouses, but as lifelong, platonic partners. Understanding this boundary so early on meant that their marriage flourished despite it, and both Parvori and Atraviani families were very grateful and proud. When Aurellio turned 20, he had his first Ascension day- earning his House Responsibilities as a Parvori and as the future Lord of his house when Caius Parvori retires. This would be celebrated every ten years.After a few performances with his ballet company for several Noble Houses and the Royal Court, he was offered a position as House Patron of the Arts for House Refa- which mainly entailed teaching Senna Refa, the Lord’s young daughter, the art of ballet. As House Refa was a Noble House, working for them would elevate House Parvori and put his family in good standing with House Refa- very valuable at the time. Aurellio took the position with pride in 2253.
Throughout his time as a House Patron, he was treated with respect and kindness, as he had shown the heads of the House and their daughter. Senna enjoyed being taught by Aurellio and simply enjoyed having him around. When Lord and Lady Refa were busy, Aurellio would gladly entertain the girl at no extra cost or alteration of his job. It was at this time he became close with Lord Refa, beyond just working for him. They were fond of each other; shown in higher paychecks (which benefited all of House Parvori), comfortable guest quarters, expensive and personalized gifts, and one-on-one ‘quality time’. Aurellio was a welcome addition to the household for more reasons than one (or two). This would continue and develop for the next six years, only unofficially ending when Aurellio would leave Centauri Prime and join Ilushka and her twin brother Savelle on their journey to Babylon 5, and when House Refa disbanded in 2260.
Ilushka reunited with her twin brother Savelle Atraviani in 2254. After escaping priesthood, he is able to take on an alias and claim to be Ilushka’s cousin to House Parvori. Aurellio meets him for the first time as well, and finds Savelle extremely charming, handsome, and sweet. They slowly start to form an intimate romantic relationship, trusting each other and falling in love. Both Aurellio and Savelle had other casual partners as well, which was common practice on Centauri Prime.
In 2259, Aurellio, Ilushka and Savelle traveled together to Babylon 5. It was not Aurellio’s first time in space, as he had driven fighter jets before, but this was his first time away from Centauri Prime and making contact with other races. Notably, human telepath Malcolm Ramseyer befriended them, and he learned about Earth Culture and the despicable “Psi Corps” from him. Babylon 5 was mainly an effort for Aurellio to experience diplomacy, networking with other planets and other Centauri, including the ambassador Londo Mollari, who had immediately recognized the Parvori name due to House Mollari and House Parvori being longtime allies. They became friendly as well, alongside his attache Vir Cotto. Aurellio, Ilushka and Savelle had a relatively safe and enjoyable time on Babylon 5, despite what would follow.
Aurellio was distraught when the news came out that Lord Refa had been murdered. In his grief, he traveled back to Centauri Prime with the intention to connect with Celes and Senna Refa. Lord Caius had requested him to come anyways, due to the fact that the Emperor Cartagia requested to see his old friend Aurellio again, and to be in his "court". Aurellio agreed, despite the public's wavering support of the volatile young Emperor.
Aurellio and Cartagia were born in the same city and attended schooling together. They were friends as young children, reconnected briefly as young adults in their late teenagerhood, and met up again a few years prior to Cartagia's ascension to the throne. Aurellio enjoyed meeting up with his friend at first and indulged in Cartagia's hedonistic shenanigans, but he had noticed that something dark was behind his eyes and power had changed him. When Ambassador Mollari showed up, and G'Kar soon after, Aurellio knew that he wanted to escape and that he could not stand to be a part of this any longer. He played along and stayed loyal and obedient to Cartagia, for the sake of his life and his House's reputation. When the Emperor died suddenly, he immediately begged for Londo to help him get back to Babylon 5 to reunite with Savelle and Ilushka. And that he did.
The experience with the late Emperor and the evils Refa was involved with being uncovered caused Aurellio to "grow up". He took his role in his House more seriously and became more responcible. He also was awakened to how fragile and short life is, after all of the death surrounding him. It was then when he proposed to Savelle, telling him he never wanted to be away from him ever again. Their marriage was executed the way it is on Earth, and they were married on paper...in the eyes of Earth, not Centauri Prime. But it didn't matter. Marriage for love was marriage for love.
In 2262, Savelle was killed during the attacks on Centauri Prime, and Aurellio joined Ilushka in mourning him deeply. As his first and only genuine romantic prospect and newly wed husband, Aurellio’s heart was broken. He took a hiatus from dance and did not seek any kind of new intrapersonal relationship for quite some time after his death. He focused most of his energy on Ilushka, helping her try and integrate back into normal rituals during her mourning, never leaving her side. The two went back to Babylon 5 away from Centauri Prime and Aurellio did diplomacy work with Ambassador Vir Cotto.
In 2266, Aurellio and Ilushka go back to Centauri Prime and Adopt their first and only child, Selvino Parvori.
In 2278, upon Emperor Mollari II’s death, and the coronation of Emperor Vir Cotto, Aurellio and Ilushka are awarded titles Lord and Lady Parvori and are offered positions working closely with the royal court- Aurellio as the Minister of Arts and Culture and member of the Centaurum, and Ilushka as the official Royal Seer. Soon after, Aurellio has an emotional reunion with a grown-up Empress Senna Refa. Followed by, in 2282, a young man by the name of Steven Ramseyer traveled to Centauri Prime all the way from Earth in search of answers to questions about where he came from and who he is.
Aurellio and Ilushka live a comfortable life with the Emperor and Empress, Selvino, Steven, and the Cotto children. It is around 2293 when Aurellio retires from dancing. He starts to walk with a cane now, and by the time he is 110 (2338) he loses the ability to walk completely.
Aurellio had vague reoccurring dreams of his death his whole life. But they were not scary, nor all that unique. He remembers a warmth, and a familiar-feeling being of light taking him in his arms and guiding him to meet him. Aurellio would pass away anywhere between 2342-2348, with Ilushka following close behind, after being married for about 100 years.
